In my worldview, there's an issue with instrumental worship being used in worship toward God. However, in recent years, I've come to accept that whereas instrumental music has no place in regular first-day-of-the-week Christian assemblies, either Biblically or historically, each aspect of our lives should give credit/glory to God, and that includes feeling good about the day or tinkering on the guitar. Accordingly, even though swinging a golf club and making a hole in one should not be part of the regular Christian worship, Christian worship should be incorporated into both the front and the back nine. Ditto guitar playing. [D] [G] The sun's comin' up / In the early mornin'. [D] [C] [D] This is the day / That the Lord has made. [G] If you're feelin' fine, / Give thanks to the Creator; [D] [C] [D] He gives good things / to those who wait. For those of us / Who're sufferin' from trouble, It's just a blip / on the radar screen. 'Cause when He comes, / He's comin' in glory. He'll fix those things / that are givin' us pain. Chorus: [D] [G] So shout for joy! / The Beauty is comin'! [D] [C] [D] Shout for joy! / He's on His way! [G] Shout for joy! / The damage will be undone! [D] [C] [A on whistle]-[D]-[G on End, D, A, D] Shout for joy! / 'Cause the bill is paid. Whistle: Repeat Chorus: Repeat Whistle: End:
